1. Are all bags handmade?

Yes! I lovingly handcraft every single bag myself here at Joan’s Bags. From cutting the fabric to stitching and adding the finishing touches, each piece is truly one of a kind. I pour my care, patience, and attention to detail into every step.

2. What materials do you use?

I use only premium, ethically sourced materials, like genuine leather, soft suede, beautiful high-quality fabrics, and durable hardware. I choose each material carefully for its strength, elegance, and the graceful way it ages over time.

3. Are the bags limited edition?

They are. Since I make every bag by hand in small batches, most designs are available only in limited quantities. Once a style is gone, I may not bring it back, so if you fall in love with one, don’t wait too long!

4. Do you accept custom orders?

As I’m currently preparing for retirement, I’m no longer able to take on custom or made-to-order requests. But I invite you to browse the final collection while it’s still available.

5. How do I care for my bag?

To keep your bag looking its best, try to avoid moisture, direct sunlight, and rough surfaces. For my real leather bags, I recommend gently wiping the surface with a soft, dry cloth and occasionally using a leather conditioner to maintain its beauty, you can find my detailed care guide here. If your bag is made from my premium vegan leather, it’s just as easy to maintain, simply follow the steps in my vegan leather care guide.

6. Do you ship internationally?

At this time, I only ship within the U.S. If that ever changes, I’ll update this section and let everyone know through my newsletter.

7. What are your shipping times?

I usually process orders within 2–3 business days. After that, delivery typically takes 5–10 business days depending on where you live. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as your bag is on its way.

8. What is your return policy?

Because each item is handmade in limited quantities, all sales are final. If you receive the wrong item or something arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery, I’ll make sure to set things right.

9. Can I still shop after your retirement announcement?

Yes, you can, but only while supplies last. Joan’s Bags is winding down, so I encourage you to take a look at the final pieces before they're gone for good.
